Raid on Castle Jotunheim
This is an abreveated version of the original one-shot adventure that started it all. It begins with a hot start, the characters waking up tired and travel worn at camp, one days march from their destination, with Castle Jotunheim visible in the distance…
Cold Open: You and your companions have marched for eight, cold, bitters days, through the mountains of Jotunheim. Now on the dawn of the eighth day, you awaken to see your destination Castle Jotunheim in the far distance….
Your fingers hurt, your lips are chapped, and you are far from home and by the gods do you miss home…
Raid on Castle Jotunheim is a three-hour, one-shot (Dungeons and Dragons, 5e.2024) adventure intended to be run at conventions. The game is set for ideally four players, but can accept up to six.
Miniatures, terrain and pre-generated characters are all provided. As well as dice if needed.
The heroes have met a puny (by giant standards) frost giant named Grog, who has implored the characters to help him win back his beloved Boreletta from the legendary giant YMIR, who proclaims he has returned from the land of the dead, to lead the frost giants to great victory against the Known World!!
Grog just wants his girlfriend back…
Grog will pay the heroes 500 gold coins each for successfully reuniting him with his beloved and driving YMIR from Jotunheim.
